“Why this Day Matters”
This is a 1 hour & 15 minute recorded class taught by Gen Kelsang Chogden, Buddhist Nun and Resident Teacher of Kadampa Meditation Center, Maryland.
There is a different class topic each week.
These classes include both meditations and teachings based on Buddha’s wisdom that can help us to stay peaceful, even in the most challenging times.

Buddha shared specific teachings on how to encourage ourselves every day to apply joyful effort towards actualizing our full potential for happiness. By practicing these methods, our mental attitudes will shift and we will find that even our difficult circumstances energize us and ultimately unlock our potential for real happiness, emotional freedom, love, wisdom and more.

Your first class is always free. To request, please send email to info@meditationinhamptonroads.org by Thursday at 4 pm.
Cost: $10/class ($5 students/seniors/unemployed).
If you register for a recording, you will receive it by the Thursday of that week, and it will be available to watch for 7 days.
