This is a 1 hour & 15 minute recorded class taught by Gen Kelsang Chogden, Buddhist Nun and Resident Teacher of Kadampa Meditation Center, Maryland.

There is a different class topic each week.

These classes include both meditations and teachings based on Buddha’s wisdom that can help us to stay peaceful, even in the most challenging times.

Current series:

Forces for Positive Change

We can develop and strengthen five positive mindsets, called the five forces, that allow us to grow in our ability to keep our mind peaceful even in tough times. When we become adept at integrating these forces into our spiritual practice, our realizations will grow quickly, and we will give ourselves the gift of more and more protection from suffering.

Class Topics:

Jan 13th –   The Strength of Motivation

Jan 20th –  Practice Makes Perfect

Jan 27th –   Increasing our Good Fortune

Feb 3rd –    Removing Obstacles to Success

Feb 10th –  Opening our Heart to Results
