How does one cope with the uncertainty and instability of our chaotic modern world without getting jaded or living in a constant state of anxiety? In this half-day workshop, Gen Demo will explore practical methods for transforming adversity from the point of view of Buddhist philosophy,psychology and meditative practice. Everyone is welcome!


Guest Teacher:
We are delighted that Gen Kelsang Demo, Midwestern US National Spiritual Director and the Resident Teacher at Kadampa Meditation Center Washington DC, has accepted our invitation to come to Hampton Roads and teach this special event.  She has been a student and disciple of Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche for over 20 years and has been teaching for 18 years. Gen Demo is deeply respected as a teacher and practitioner. She demonstrates a wealth of practical knowledge and provides clear and inspiring teachings for people of all levels of interest.
